Spring by Peter Brueghel is a historic piece of artwork that can now be yours in the form of a 300 Piece Wooden Jigsaw Puzzle.

In this scene, Spring has sprung, and these people are busy getting the gardens ready, whilst others are tending to the sheep. Further back, a group of people appear to be dancing and celebrating and are very carefree. Perhaps the water is separating these two groups of people, who both appear to be of the same class but are living very different lives. Perhaps the castle in the background has something to do with it. As well as being very detailed and great fun to complete as a puzzle, this piece of art also poses many questions that will make you wonder what is really happening in this scene and what is represents.

Pieter Brueghel The Younger was a Flemish renaissance artist in the late 1500's “ early 1600's and is famed for artwork that depicted the wickedness of humankind and peasant life. He was influenced by his father Pieter Brueghel The Elder, an artist who also painted in the same vein. ‚
