Painted in 1839 by Joseph Mallord William Turner, this beautiful painting depicts a battle ship called Fighting Temeraire‚, which played a major role in the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805. The painting is thought to represent the decline in Britain's naval power, as the ship is being towed away from the sunset. This painting is in The National Gallery in London.
