We are catching up with orders. The team have done a fantastic job of getting up to date and we are nearly there. The work that they’ve put in over the past couple of weeks has been truly incredible. Our customers continue to be so patient and understanding and I have seen some lovely messages over the past couple of weeks that have nearly brought me to tears! Thank you again, from the bottom of our hearts for all your messages and kind words. We really do appreciate it.
So, you may have noticed that the jigsaw puzzle cupboards at All Jigsaw Puzzles are looking a little bare. Our MD, commented that they look like the toilet roll aisle at the supermarket! I don’t think that this a problem exclusive to us (the lack of puzzles or bad jokes from our MD). We are working closely with our suppliers to get more stock in, but no one was prepared for the huge increases that we are all seeing. I can promise you that everyone in our industry is trying their absolute best to get jigsaws made and out the door.
I had a chat with a long-standing colleague and friend at one of the biggest jigsaw puzzle manufacturers in Europe the other day. She was trying to make sure that everyone got jigsaw puzzles. The easiest thing for her to do, would be to just give all the stock to all the “big guys”, but she didn’t want to do that. She wanted to ensure that independents and ecommerce stores got their fair share too. It gives everyone a better chance of making it to the other side. I’m not going to name any names obviously, but it reminded that my friend is a superstar, but also that we work in a lovely, supportive industry.
So, we are working with our current suppliers to get more stock in. We are working with some new suppliers too. We have lots of stock on order which should be arriving over the next few days.
Finally, the most exciting piece of news today is there’s also a new Wasgij coming… more on that in the next few days.
